The Sumner County Vintage Vehicle Club
The Sumner County Vintage Vehicle Club meets MiMi's on the first Thursday of the
month at 6:00 PM . The meeting starts at 6 p.m., but if you are
going to eat or visit, you should try to be there by 5 p.m. The Club is
having a Cruise In every Friday evening behind Regal Cinemas at Indian Lake Mall from

Hendersonville Holiday Fest
This non-profit organization plans holiday events to raise funds
for local charities. Events begin in November with Gentlemen's Committee
Event, Indian Lake Run, Trolleys and Truffles Event, and the Annual City
Tree Lighting and Carriage Rides. More events occur
in December.

The Lakeshore Quilters, a local membership of the Tennessee Valley Quilt
Association, is a group of approximately 88 sewers that share their art and
talent on the second Monday of each month at the First United Methodist
Church in Hendersonville. Forty eight of these quilters gathered at a
recent retreat to make the Cathedral Star Quilt (shown in the picture),
taught by Karen Gibson. During the year, the quilters make pro bono quilts
for those in need of a touch of love and quilts for "Quilts of Valor"
donated to US Veterans. We meet for social time at 9a.m. Our meeting begins
at 10:00 and lasts until 11:30 a.m. If anyone wants more information, please contact

Explorastory of Hendersonville
Explorastory of Hendersonville meets first Wednesday of the month at Rock
Castle, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Members are business owners, teachers, musicians,
librarians, and they volunteer monthly to share a story or story idea with
the group and to talk about how they want to use their story. Members
share ideas and give feedback to the member sharing to help them organize
the story, learn how to present the story, and hone their storytelling

Sumner Trails Chapter of the Tennessee Trails Association
The Sumner Trails Chapter of the Tennessee Trails Association meets monthly
in Hendersonville. The chapter sponsors free hikes and trailwork projects
every month. The Tennessee Trails Association is a non-profit
501(c)(3) organization, founded in 1968, whose mission is to promote the
development of a statewide system of hiking trails. Complimentary

Chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, the Hendersonville Radio Control
Club has been serving Hendersonville aeromodelers for over 30 years. We meet on
the third Friday of each month in the Community Room at the Hendersonville
Hospital at 7:00 PM. We fly at the model airplane field in Sanders Ferry Park
that the club maintains in cooperation with the Hendersonville Parks Department.
Membership is open to everyone, children and adults alike.
